Kumon to open in Papakura
Kumon will soon come to Papakura to children’s learning in maths and English, and will be marking its opening with a two-week free trial.
Kumon Papakura opens on Monday, October 15, and will be led by Instructor Nital Shah, who has worked previously in tutoring, the technology industry, and has achieved a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology.
Nital has seen firsthand how Kumon benefits children academically and personally. Among these are her niece and nephew.
“Through Kumon’s self-learning method, kids gain confidence in Maths and English”, Nital says. “The discipline and confidence it brings in kids has a lifelong impact, and Kumon not only concentrates on kids’ academic growth but also their personal development”.
“It helps children develop valuable qualities like patience and perseverance, and builds their ability to concentrate”.
Kumon Papakura is located at Papakura Old Central School. Centre opening hours are on Monday and Thursday afternoons, from 3pm to 6pm. The two-week free trial involves participating students receiving individualised Kumon Instruction across four consecutive class days, spread across two weeks, for free. Please note that terms and conditions apply.
During this time, they will also receive necessary materials to allow them to continue their Kumon studies at home.
“As an Instructor I not only want my students to grow academically but to also develop their patience, confidence and perseverance”, Nital says.
“I want them to never give up and to know that anything is possible”.
