In March, Kumon Supervisors and staff gathered at the new premises in Auckland to celebrate the opening of the new office. The event signifies a bright start for Kumon students around New Zealand in 2010 as more and more families choose to educate their children with the Kumon Method.

Currently, over 4,000 students are enrolled in 38 Kumon Centres across New Zealand. One third of these students are already studying well beyond their grade level and are enjoying learning advanced materials. This is great news for New Zealand communities as it highlights that parents see the importance of providing the best educational opportunities for their children.

As the Kumon Method becomes increasingly popular, more children will have the opportunity to study with Kumon. Our aim for all children is that they are able to experience the reward that comes with studying ahead of their school grade level. Ultimately we want them to pursue their learning with confidence so that throughout their lives they can experience the success that they deserve.
